Although highly interrelated, four national concerns are conventionally addressed as separate issues: energy, declining U.S. hegemony, global warming, and terrorism. Each is largely driven by a single public policy: oil policy. A technical analysis and policy integration recommendations were published in Comparative Economic Advantage in the War on Terror as a collaborative undertaking.


Teton Sands was subsequently tasked to use the publication as an intellectual foundation in developing political triangulation strategies for candidates in certain 2008 races. The engagement included creating PR tactics, sound bites and derivate editorials.

 

Education Policy is another focus. Projects include academic standards, grade inflation, fundamental epistemological issues, and second language acquisition – particularly SLA implications for cognition and international competitiveness.
