Compelling visions are no longer enough.  Young ventures must surmount increasingly complex challenges.

Today, institutional funding of “concepts” rarely happens.  It has been argued “venture capital” from private sector institutions is a thing of the past.  The realistic revenue threshold, for example, is $3 million – and steadily headed north.

New entities must therefore internally fund and execute design, development, staffing, operations, and sales ~ in the face of increasingly intense gobal competition.  In Praise of Risk articulates America’s stake in their odysseys.  Half of all job growth, most new things that smooth the way for humanity, depend on their successes: and, failures.

Teton Sands relies on 270Tech, Syber Group, and other practice partners for much heavy lifting in this new order.  To date, some 400 ventures have been shepherded through organizational, structural, governance, capital formation, intellectual property, tech transfer, business development, staffing, grant application, and a myriad other issues.

Passion is a key ingredient of entrepreneurial endeavor.  Teton principals have repeatedly demonstrated passion by providing 10,000 hours of pro bono time to helping numerous small funding boutiques finance entrepreneurial activity.

As requirements and engagement requirements evolve, Teton is able to draw upon a network of nearly a thousand advisors.
